Central Midori is investing half a million dollars in a Printed Electronic Development Lab at its facility 67 Ayer Rajah Crescent in Singapore. This whole area of Singapore known as One North is experiencing a “tech boom” and Printed Electronic has been singled out as a strategic opportunity for the country.
For many people Additive Manufacturing refers solely to digital 3D printing. At Central Midori we pride ourselves on producing electronics using exclusively clean additive processes. The new Development Lab will give CMI the necessary resources to support the vibrant community of innovators in Singapore and in the whole South East Asia region.
IDTechEx forecasts a market of $75 billion for Printed Electronics by 2024 and we are positioning CMI to be a leader in this important new market. CMI is focusing on printed sensors, security anti-tampering solutions and wearable electronics.
